Angel Dlamini was born on 15 June 1979. In May 2002, she married King Mswati III, becoming his eighth wife. The marriage was part of the king’s customary practice of selecting wives during the annual Umhlanga Reed Dance ceremony, a cultural event where young women perform traditional dances.
Challenges and Departure
In May 2012, Inkhosikati LaGija left the royal compound. Reports suggest that her departure was due to personal reasons, and she spent several years away from the royal household. During this period, she was absent from public royal events and ceremonies.
